The LAPD has taken a person into custody in Woodland Hills and some evacuation orders have been downgraded.

But people living in Hidden Hills are being asked to follow any new evacuation orders.

The nearby city of Calabasas is also being affected by the fire.

Caputo is now living in Calabasas with more of the team and it’s interesting that you mentioned this arson investigation because I think a lot of people, especially the last two days, have been wondering where this fire is coming from because you mentioned that a person has been taken into custody in Woodland Hills and the LAPD is questioning at this point.

It’s an arson investigation. We usually have no idea at this early stage of any fire how it started, obviously it’s early in the investigation, but the interesting thing is that they’ve already taken someone into custody behind me.

We’re in Los. Virgin, the road is closed, this area is actually under the sheriff’s department, so the road is closed and it’s pretty dark because there’s no power.

We’ve seen people basically getting out of town on bikes, on foot, on skateboards and with luggage and toes.

People are really listening to those warnings. Especially since you know they’ve seen and seen how devastating the last two days have been in different communities.

You know it tells you that we’re pretty far from the front of the fire and it’s mostly grass and a little bit of a long way but these trucks are parked pretty close to 101 and we’ve actually seen them leave the area and go onto 101.

It’s an indication that at least the immediate threat here has been significantly reduced, especially since we got here around 3:00 this afternoon the far side of the road has been closed, obviously the power is out and the concerns are still there.

At least the evacuation order is in effect for Lvirist but the big news here is that there’s obviously an individual being questioned by the LAPD and it’s being investigated as an arson, but obviously there’s more to come on this.
